1. In Google Chrome address bar, type in:     https://10.1.240.13/ucmuser/                            
    (you can copy and paste the link to your address bar)                                                         

    Note: This does NOT change your Cisco PCA/Personal Communications Assistant, nor Cisco voicemail PIN.     


  2. Once you enter the address in and move forward, Google Chrome will alert you (or not) that “Your connection is not private”. If you encounter this display, scroll down to the bottom of the page and locate the “Advanced” button and click on it. 
    If you do not see this page, skip to step 4.

  3. A drop-down notification will appear telling you to proceed with caution. It is okay, go ahead and click on “Proceed to 10.1.240.13
  4. The link will lead you to Cisco Unified Communications Self Care Portal. Go ahead and type in your credentials. 
    Your login name is: first letter of your first name full last name (do not include @ndsj.org
    Your password (default): ndsj2021
  5. If you are logged into Cisco Self Care Portal, you will see your home page. Go ahead and locate the “General Settings” tab and click on it.
  6. Under the General Settings tab, go ahead and locate Client/Portal Password sub-category. Go ahead and type in your new password and verify your new password in the space provided. Once you are satisfied with your new password, go ahead and click on “Save” button located below the new password box.          
    A successful save will prompt the page to display the notification “The new password has been successfully saved” all in green on top of the page. If not, go ahead and try again or contact the IT Department.                    


  7. To verify that your new password works you can go ahead and click on sign out button located on the top-right hand-side of the page under your login name.

  8. Go ahead and type in your new login credentials.
