We now have an efficient way to wirelessly display to our projectors. The audio and video cables will no longer work in the classrooms.
In order to connect to Chromecast (Google Cast), simply update to the newest Chrome browser as it is now built-in by default. You will know you are updated to the newest one if you see 3 dots on the top right of your browser as shown in the picture below.
Once added, use this button to decide whether to "cast" the current tab or to display the whole screen. You should see a list of the classroom you want to project. Only once the projector is turned on will the Chromecast be listed.
In order to cast the whole screen (mandatory when using the DVD player or Document Cameras), please be sure to select "Cast screen/window (beta)" and full screen the DVD on your laptop.

Some websites like YouTube have Google Cast integrated so look for the Google Cast icon
If you're having having connection trouble or the name of your class Chromecast is not showing, please close and reopen Chrome or update to the newest Chrome browser by selecting settings, then "about" on the left hand side to auto update.
